Grades 3-5 - Math Resources
1. Virtual Math Manipulatives from Toy Theater - Free to use and easy to access, the manipulatives can be used by teachers to model mathematical concepts and by students to explore those same concepts. The manipulatives include an interactive clock, two color counters, 3D dice, probability spinners, fraction bars, base ten blocks and more. Best of all, there is always enough for everyone and they are very easy to "clean up

2. Johnnie's Math Page - A collection of interactive resources organized by the categories of Number, Geometry, Fractions, Multiplication, Operations, Fun, Measurement, Statistics, and Probability.
3. Drag Race Division - Students can practice basic division facts while competing in a drag race against other online players.
4. Math Playground - On this website students can practice their math skills, play logic games and have some fun!
5. The Place Value Game - Students use the numbers given to them to create the largest possible number. The computer will only give them one digit at a time so it takes a bit of luck along with skill.
6. Interactivate: Simple Coordinates Game - Use this game with students to practice plotting points on a graph or reading the location of points plotted for you. Don't forget to check out the exploration questions.
7. Interactivate: Simple Maze Game- This activity allows students to practice their point plotting skills by having them move a robot through a minefield to a target location. Moves are accomplished by specifying the coordinates of the new location. In order to win, the path must not cross a mine. This activity would work well in groups of two for about thirty minutes if you use the exploration questions and fifteen minutes otherwise.
6. Interactivate: Estimator Four - This activity allows two students to play a game of estimation where each player tries to connect four game pieces in a row before his or her opponent does. The players earn game pieces by accurately estimating the answers to various problems. Users can choose to estimate addition, multiplication, and percentage problems. This activity would work well in groups of 2 for about 25-30 minutes if you use the exploration questions and 15-20 minutes otherwise.
7. Create a Graph - An online tool for creating five different types of graphs.
