Animations
Google Slides can be used to create stop-motion animations. The trick is in moving items located on the slides in tiny increments and having dozens of slides. It is not as time consuming as you might think because you can quickly duplicate a slide, make the movements, and repeat.

Printable Posters & Table Tents
Posters are easy to design in Google Slides and they can be printed and laminated for use in your classroom. The Oakland Schools Print Shop has very reasonable pricing ($2.75) for 12" x 18" laminated posters. Your school may have an account with our print shop that you can use, but if not you can set up your own account.
Table Tents can be designed for and then printed on 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock. It makes the perfect size for an easy to read Table Tent. If you are going to use them more than a few times, you may want these to be laminated too.
